MiMeS Queries

• Query MiMeS Targets: Use this query form to browse all of the MiMeS targets. You can restrict your query to various classes of objects, vsini, magnitude, etc. On the query result pages you can quickly access SIMBAD information, ALADIN previews and drill down to a summary of MiMeS data for specific targets, if available. Pixel data can also be downloaded from the latter page.
• Survey Component:This query provides a quick list of only the Survey Component of the MiMeS program.
• Targeted Component:This query provides a quick list of only the Targeted Component of the MiMeS program.
• Search for Processed Data:This query page permits a search of the MiMeS exposure table for particular datasets. Note that marking and downloading a single dataset will actually provide you with ALL associated processed data for the indicated "p" file. i.e. each of the processed intensity spectra ("i" files) derived from the sequence used to generate the processed polarization spectra (the "p" file). This form will also let you retrieve ALL MiMeS data in one form, but if you do that make sure you have a fast Internet connection!
• Search for Raw Data:This query permits monitoring of MiMeS data acquisition in near real time, or at least as quickly as raw data appear in the CADC database tables. If you mark a file and download it an attempt will be made to also provide you with the processed intensity spectrum ("i" file) generated from the single ESPaDOnS dataset. Note, however, that it is usually several hours after acquisition of the raw dataset before any processed products are available.
